Pupcake

Kyle and I brought Bruiser home a little cupcake from Whiskers...he carried it around for an hour!!! It was hilarious, he wouldn't put it down either. Finally he ate it, frosting first of course.

Oh...such a bad cold!

I've had a yucky cold this week! Kyle picked up some tulips to help me feel better. Bless his heart! So, I haven't had anything fun to update my blog with. Hopefully I'll get better soon and do something fun to write about!

Our little girl...

Notice her nose and lips...her lips are slightly parted (looks like Kyle's nostrils)

Here she is kicking back with her legs up, good shot of the legs and a good shot of her profile.

Here she is also kicking back...good shot of the footsie.

I love Conference Sundays!!!!

David and Julia...all snuggie for conference!
My mom and I went and bought two choc. cream pies at Marie Calendar's for our conference extravaganza. We woke up Sunday morning to find one pie looking like this! Apparently USC lost Saturday night and Diddy came home in a rage only to calm himself with 3/4 of a choc. cream pie!!!!!! He has a USC crew he travels with and watches all the games with and apparently they got LOADED on something besides pie that night. We're glad Diddy took his rage out LDS style!

We had cinnamon rolls and fruit for breakfast and BLT's for lunch...sorry I ate my BLT before I could even snap a picture of it. (Actually I ate two of them...oink, oink)

I loooove conference Sundays! I was so excited to get out of bed Sunday morning! We combine Conference with lots and lots of food at my house! There's nothing like jammies, yummy food, good company and the cutest prophet ever !!!!

Happy Birthday Lon !!! (Kyle's Dad)

We went to Tom's Tacos to party on! Lon got lots of super cool presents including some new duds and gift certificates!!!! It was an all around wonderful evening with the family! Eating at Tom's is a Thompson Family favorite. I was introduced to Tom's (aka Tido's) once Kyle and I were married.

Thank You to Our Awesome Family...

For those of you who don't know we had a pretty bad week last week. Monday night, I started having really bad stomach aches. The aches got continually worse every single night as the week progressed. The pain was in my abdomen and lower back. I was going the entire night without sleeping. Finally on Friday I went to see my Dr. My usual Dr. wasn't available so I had a new male Dr. (new for me). He was positive the pain I described was contractions. He sampled my cervix as well as felt it to see if it was thin from the contractions. He said for sure it felt very thin to him which was a very bad sign of pre-term labor. He felt for sure my test would come out positive to show I was at risk due to all the contractions. He ordered me to bed rest for the next two weeks and said I'd most likely be on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy... depending on the results of this test which he felt very strongly would come out positive. Over the weekend our entire family fasted and prayed for us. We were SO worried our baby was going to come four months early. The Sunday our fast ended Kyle gave me a blessing and that night (last night) was the first night the pain was way better. All day Sunday I felt such peace and comfort. I knew everything was going to be alright and I knew the prayers of ourselves and our family had been answered. This morning the nurse called to tell me my test was NEGATIVE and they had me in for a cervical ultrasound to double check the cervical lining which came out great.

I am SOOOO grateful for the prayers and fasting of our family, it has truly made all the difference in our lives and the life of our new baby. She is so lucky to have such a wonderful, caring family waiting for her arrival.
