Calling Georgia

Today Audrey spoke to her Grand-Mama in Georgia (my dad's mom) for the first time and she called her up all on her own.

Audrey was roaming around with my Dad's cell phone and kept yelling hello into the phone like she always does...then she put it on speaker (while pounding the buttons) and we realized she had someone on the line...my Grandma! I heard a sweet little southern voice saying hello right back to her!!! It was such an unexpected and sweetest surprise!! I recognized the voice immediately, the voice of my one and only southern bell!! So, Grandma got to speak to Audrey for the first time today, thanks to Audrey.

Zebra Girls

These beach buddies were workin' the stripes! Friends who shop together, stay together! Audrey LOVES Jamba Juice. It's her big treat. Jamba has the cutest little cups and they even cut the straws in half to be just the right size. Audrey is very serious when it comes to her Jamba treats, once she gets her cup she doesn't give it up until she's slurped every last drop and completely destroyed the cup looking for more.

Momiversary

Kyle and I's wedding anniversary was the Friday before Mother's day. This happens every year (I should have planned that better) and KT always does his best to make this weekend extra special to celebrate both. KT always leaves presents for me in the bathroom, it's kinda became our random tradition. So I found this beauty on the bathroom counter Friday evening. It is a bouquet of flowers and gift cards to all my favorite places. I thought it was very thoughtful and fun. I gave KT a 10 out of 10 for this one. We then headed over to the Melting Pot where we celebrate our momiversary every year. Kacey and JJ babysat for us ... a priceless anniversary gift! Audrey had such a fun time at their cutest little house.

The melting pot always leaves a card and flower on the table if you tell them ahead of time that you are celebrating a special occasion.

We always get "The Big Night Out" which includes four courses of wonderfulness. Here is KT showing his love for the cheese.

Thanks KT for five years of fun and adorableness. You are the best hubby and daddy...I really got the full package! How did I get so lucky?!

PS...kt dresses audrey every sat. and sun. morning. The common theme is always boy and this day it was "taxi cab boy"

Burritos & the Beach

Burritos and the beach is a favorite combination of mine and I got to enjoy it with three of my favorite girls! We started our day at our "secret spot" and then headed to the beach for some fun in the sun.

Eating a breakfast burrito while sitting on top of a flower...every girl's dream!

Audrey LOVES feeding animals. Aud feeds our dogs every morning and feeds the ducks with dad every chance he gets. She hasn't learned to quack yet but she does know how to bark so she barks at the ducks/birds when she sees them. Audie does know how to say duck though (duddie) she uses it for all winged creatures.
Here is Audrey feeding the birds at the beach.

She ran around until she could run no more...
