10 Months Old

Adurey is 10months old. Her entire 9th month has been my very favorite month. So many firsts and such a fun personality. She is my favorite little pal. I couldn't imagine life without her.

Here is Audrey in her Thanksgiving Best. November is my very favorite month. So many wonderful moments this month.

Blog Protester

Audrey is not a fan of blogging. This little stinker stands right next to me, holding onto the computer chair, babbling and whining EVERY and ANY time I sit down at the computer.

Here is Audrey working the chair...trying to win me away from the computer...

Boy Toy

I love eating at BJ's on 2nd street and then going a couple doors down to Blue Windows afterward. It's one of my favorite combinations. It is a wonderful blend of the yummiest pizza and Cutest baby clothes, two of my favorite things. I was lucky enough to go twice last week and Audrey found the boy of her dreams in the process. She loves him...I just park her next to him and he keeps her entertained the entire time I shop. He's a little older than her but is extremely patient with all her baby ways of pulling, pinching and tugging. He never complains or whines. When we went back the 2nd time she totally recognized her new buddy and was so excited to see him. The store manager told me he's actually quite popular with the young ladies.

It started out with a little hand holding...
Then some chest grabbing...

Thankful For Friends

Some fellow moms and I got together for a Thanksgiving dinner without the kids. We enjoyed eating, games and lots of gabbing. Everyone had to bring something they were thankful for under five dollars for a gift exchange. I must say...there wasn't a single unwanted gift in the house. We also played the "thankful game". I highly suggest this game for other Thanksgiving dinners. When each person arrived they wrote down something they were thankful for other than the usual (family, friends etc...) and why they were thankful for it. Then, we guessed who was thankful for what. I wish so badly I would have held onto the papers for blog purposes. I will share a few from memory.

"I am thankful for my Venus razor. Without it I would be one super hairy monster."

"I am thankful for my purell key chain...without it I would be washing my hands in public restrooms constantly."

"I am thankful for spanx...without them my belly would hang to the floor."

Here is everyone with their new loot from the gift exchange

Someone managed to swipe a root beer from a gift before it left the gift giver's house. We're not naming any names but we have a pretty good idea who it might have been.

I'm so sad Shawna's pretty face isn't in this picture...

WHO LET THE MOMS OUT ?!

Friday night was an OUT-OF-CONTROL GNO!!! I got together with some of the funnest gals and we went WILD, Disney-Style!!!! We had WAY too much fun! We enjoyed birthing stories in line and screaming our guts out on the funnest rides! Thanks for the good time ladies!!!

Jodee and I on the tram together, she was a great carpool buddy!

We started our night with a round of churros & D.C. ! There is no better way to start a party. We dedicated a bite to our girls who couldn't make it.

Here we are on splash mountain. The ride operator took pity on the wild moms and let us ride twice.

We came prepared for splash mountain. That is right...we ROCKED our hair tassies (KT calls them hair nasties). I don't blow dry my hair for an hour just to throw water on it! I have to say...Jodee looks dang good in her tassie, Braden is one lucky guy!

Enjoying the line (the lines were short and sweet)

Saturday morning we ate at my FAVORITE breakfast spot with our besties, The Larsens. Blackboard Bistro has BEST pancakes ever!

Pure chocolate chip goodness!!!!

I have to send out a HUGE thank you to my hubby for taking such great care of our little one while I ran off to play all night. What a hottie!

BEST MEXI FOOD EVER !!!!

This comment (shown below) was posted online in reference to El Coyote Restaurant (whose owner is lds and donated to the yes on 8 campaign) . We must all make a huge effort to eat there. Picketers and demonstrators have been harassing this poor woman's customers. I saw that many other comments, by people loving their food, were made previously in this same place online. One comment went on to say how crowded it always is b/c everyone LOVES it. It just makes me sick that the news reported it with all the demonstrators out front giving the boycott even more momentum. Now everyone who is "no" on prop 8 will do what they can to make this poor woman's life as miserable as possible. What a bunch of NASTY people!

I FEEL A HUGE GNO AT EL COYOTE COMING ON!!!!

Here is the address for anyone who is dying to eat yummy Mexican food!!!!

El Coyote Restaurant

Public enemy number 8 - I SAY TO THIS...GO MARJORIE!!!!!
11/12/2008 Posted by bretray
A co-owner, Marjorie, donated $1000 for deceptive advertising leading many to vote for Proposition 8, an initiative that attempted to write discrimination into the California constitution against gay and lesbian families for the first time ever. The food is truly mediocre and I would recommend a short drive over to La Cienega to the Velvet Margarita for very well made and sometimes even authentic Mexican food. The mole there is to die for. El Coyote's food is pretty mediocre in comparison. The most important thing is to not give Marjorie another dollar for fear of what she will donate it to next. Will it be a campaign to deny you equal protection under the constitution because of your god-given characteristics?

My Baby "Betty"

This girl just LOVES the kitchen. It's pretty much the best thing that's ever happened to me ( aside from my family and all that good stuff)! Best purchase I've ever made! Audrey will be so over-tired and cranky and I'll just drop her off at the kitchen and suddenly she's busy taking care of her baby girl duties. She's always got dishes to be done and the oven door MUST remain open. It's hysterical, I want to kiss this kitchen every day!

Goobye Twinner!

I have to say goodbye to my twinner today! It's been a blast being your twin but as of today I am just your sister. I am venturing on to 28 and leaving you at 27. Thanks for being the best twin a girl could ask for!

Mmmm...Spunky

You haven't lived until you've gone to the 9-0-9 and dined at the Spunky Steer. You can even call it Spunky's for short. You get the most yummy steak dinner for under ten dollars!

Audrey enjoyed her first steak...it had to be from Spunky's

We met Great Grandma Barbara and Kyle's family for dinner. It was extra special to see Great Grandma Barbara because she lives in AZ. Spunky's is one of her favorite spots.
Audrey enjoyed her first Tootsie Pop. She REALLY liked it. She shared it with Aunt Kacey.

Mornings with dad

Every Saturday morning KT watches Audrey so I can either go to work or sleep in. This morning I decided to sleep in. Audrey + Dad = totally random events. This morning I woke up to Kyle and Audrey arriving home with Audrey in the car (push car Audrey rides in) sporting a shiny new Yes on prop 8 sticker across the hood and a trunk full of "new" items purchased at multiple garage sales. I was totally cracking up at the thought of the two of them rolling up to random houses with that prop 8 sticker and shopping together. Amongst her loot was a new Elmo movie and Elmo phone. Don't you gals worry, I busted out the Clorox wipes immediately. KT was so proud of his .50 cent purchases.
